A man walked into a police station in Barnet and said "Excuse me officer, I've just been attacked by a mad woman in Finchley" Six months later Councillor Brian Coleman was convicted of assault after CCTV footage exposed this lie in the Magistrate Court. He had attacked Helen Michael and lied for six months about the incident to Police. Yesterday his nomination to stand as a candidate in the Council Election was announced. Whilst we consider this to be a joke we are not laughing. Thanks to Mr Mustard for pointing out Coleman was convicted in a magistrates court
