Join us today at 11am for the premier of the Friern Barnet Pop Up Library

Please come along to Friern Barnet today at 11am for the launch of our pop up library. Bring a few books with you and borrow a few books. We're having a design  a blue plaque competition, open to people of all ages. The winner will see their plaque mounted on the side of Friern Barnet Library. There's a free lollypop of every entrant aged under 93. We've had complaints from age charities claiming that this is ageist, but nothing could be further from the truth. For those of 93 and older can have a free tot of Brandy courtesy of the Barnet Eye.

We are also making a film about how the people of Barnet love our librarys. If you want to have your say, then come on down and don't forget to do your hair !

We've invited all of our councillors down as well, so hopefully you'll be able to tell Robert Rams where he is going wrong with his closure scheme. Maybe we'll even get a visit from GLA Candidate Brian Coleman.

Anyway, if you want to show your support for our librarys, now's your chance.
