Coleman on Ken - Firemen to be given 90 days notice
Brian Coleman has just told Ken Livingsone on the LBC 97.3 radio show that he's going to give all of Londons firemen 90 days notice if they don't accept new shift patterns and other changes. That's Brian Coleman who earns between £114,000 and £130,000 per annum depending on who you believe. The same Brian Coleman who voted himself and other cabinet members a huge payrise of 100%. The same Brian Coleman who used his role as chief whip of the Barnet Tory group to publicly humiliate Kate Salinger for abstaining in the vote. The man is a bully and a menace

Well, Brian, chum: you have less than two years notice in your post as GLA member for this constituency, I reckon, after recent events, and I think there may be a few firefighters who will not be sobbing into their hankies should you lose ...
We - collectively - also have to lobby CAMDEN Conservatives for a better candidate, since he represents both boroughs.
We will also have to make sure he doesn't make the "Conservative Party list", which is another way to get elected.
I look forward to asking him in Tesco in a year or two, where the baked beans are. {This refers to his own job suitability analysis.)
